Electric hoist cannot start and run

1. First, check whether the power fuse is blown, should replace the sufficient fuses;

2. Secondly, the grid voltage is too low.

The starting torque is proportional to the square of the voltage. The acceleration torque cannot overcome the load torque and cannot reach the operating speed. The grid voltage should be appropriately increased.

3. The stator windings are short-circuited, grounded, or open-circuited. 

Should open the terminal box to inspect whether the control equipment wiring is correct, the contact of the AC contactor is properly or not, and also check the core whether there is jamming, replace the contactor if necessary.

4. The load is too large.

Remove the load first. If the motor can start normally, explain the reduction box, etc. If the transmission mechanism is faulty, check the towed mechanism to clear the fault.
