Scrapping standard for wire ropes of electric hoist

Steel wire rope is an important force-bearing component of electric hoist. When the steel wire rope approaches and reaches a vain standard, it needs to be scrapped and replaced with a new wire rope before it can be put into use again. The wire rope should be scrapped when one of the following conditions occurs:

1. The diameter of the wire rope is reduced by 7% or more of the original diameter;

2. The entire strand is disconnected;

3. The elasticity is weakened a lot and it is not easy to bend;

4. The internal corrosion of the steel wire rope is serious;

5. The steel wire rope is knotted and twisted seriously;

6. The external corrosion of the steel wire rope is obvious, and the steel wire is loose;

7. The rope core is damaged, and the diameter of the wire rope is significantly reduced;

8. The wire rope is severely bent and the cage-like deformation.
